Keynote Speaker: Darla Weaver

Hi! My name is Darla Weaver, and I’ve been married to my best friend, Marlin, for 27 years. I’m the proud mother of 10 sons and 1 daughter, ages 23 to 3. We recently moved back to Lancaster County, PA, from New England, and we’re excited to see what God has for us here. My husband and I met Jesus at the age of 25 when He wrecked our lives in the best way possible. We have never gotten over the miracle of redemption and healing, and we pray we never will. My desire is to point others to the good, good Father who has tenderly brought me out of addictions and fear and into a life of an intimate relationship with Him. You can find more about my sessions on the schedule page. May His name be glorified.

Workshop Leaders

Each day will include a breakout session for workshops. When you register, sign up for the two you would like to attend. The teen workshop is a two-part workshop.

Finding the Treasure of Home

Arla Graber

Do you feel trapped in homekeeping? Homekeeping is the most important but underrated role ever. Whether married or single, everybody has a home (or should have one). We are worthy and so are our homes. A glimpse of heaven, our ultimate home, is portrayed there. Beauty, order, comfort, skills, and chores should be valued and curated to our current needs of growth and blessing, for others and for ourselves. We’ll also look at some fun practical tips for decorating and organization.

You Are What You Think

Delight Yoder

One of the most important things about you is your mind. The focus of your thoughts significantly affects everything that happens in your life, and evokes the feelings that frame your world and motivate your actions. Scripture tells us to love God with our minds. We will explore the nonnegotiable importance of reading, memorizing, and meditating on Scripture as a way to renew, cleanse, and train our minds in godliness, as well as combat fear, discouragement, and Satan’s lies.

Woulds and Wouldn'ts: A Look Back at Parenting

Danette Martin

I am no longer a young mother; my children are all grown, and some of them have young children themselves. Although I can’t go back and change the way I parented my children, the good news is I can continue to learn no matter what season of parenting I’m in. I also have the privilege of dialoguing with young moms as I view the past and ponder some things I would do again, as well as things I wouldn’t repeat, if I’d somehow be given the opportunity to do it over. I’d be delighted if the workshop interaction we experience could inspire change and offer hope to us all on our parenting journey.

I Am His Workmanship

Marj Weaver

We are God’s own creation, formed and fashioned by Him according to His design. Rather than just being products of random chance or circumstances, we are carefully crafted by God for our good and His glory. As God’s workmanship, He is at work in us, shaping and molding us to become more like Christ, and transforming us from the inside out so we can fulfill His purposes and bring Him praise. This workshop should be a powerful reminder of our identity in Christ and an encouragement for us to live out our calling and fulfill the good works that God has prepared for us.

Secrets for Exciting Teen Bible Study (Teen Workshop)

Get ready to use highlighters, dictionaries, and lots of paper (provided in class). This workshop is designed for ages 13-16, but is open to anyone who wants to dig into the Bible. This workshop is a two-part workshop, so register for it on both days.
